Most "trading journals" are glorified spreadsheets with a coat of paint. They were built for day-traders flipping equities and shoehorned to fit options. We started Tradevada because the wheel deserved better.
The problem we got tired of
Every options trader running cash-secured puts and covered calls eventually hits the same wall: your "true" cost basis stops matching what your broker tells you. Premium collected on a CSP that gets assigned changes your effective entry. A covered call you roll forward shifts your breakeven again. After a few cycles, your spreadsheet is a mess and your broker's P&L view is lying to you.
So we built the tool we wanted. Cycle-aware accounting, true breakeven projection, a wheel-strategy view that tracks every premium you've ever collected against the underlying — and analytics that finally tell you if your strategy actually works.

Latency matters. So does polish.
You're checking this thing five times a day. We treat every animation, every keystroke, and every page-load like it has to earn its place. No bloat. No spinner soup.

If a feature requires a card up front, we say so. If a number is computed (not measured), we mark it. No "free forever" disguises and no quiet pricing creep.
